Having a blast
One of the best things about owning a record shop is that you get to play the music of your choice for six hours a day
Yesterday we stepped back into the 1970s and played:
Bowie's Pin Ups - a great album of his interpretations of some 60s classics, still love how Rosalyn segues into Here Comes The Night
Bowie's Station to Station - side 2 only for Stay and Wild is the Wind
Blondie's Eat to the Beat - we all love Parallel Lines but this is just as good and includes Atomic of course
Roxy Music first album - we've been getting back into early RM and it's easy to forget just how good this and For Your Pleasure were
Then onto some singles which we had to check before putting out for sale; some great US funk from the 70s: Tundra, Wee Willie and the Winners, Soul on Delivery and Morning, Noon and Night's Bite Your Granny
Yes we had a blast yesterday
Today we've kicked off with some Long John Baldry then Love's Forever Changes and currently Art of Noise is playing
All of the above for sale!
Open today until 4pm
